December 12, 2012
We are pleased to announce that M.P.G. Pipeline Contractors, LLC
(MPG) has been acquired by Houston-based Partners Pipeline Construction,
LLC effective November 1, 2012. As part of the transaction the existing
management of Partners Pipeline will join the MPG team, and we will
continue to operate as MPG.
MPG first began operations in 2008 and our growth since then has
been steady, stemming from the referrals of our clients and of other
industry professionals. Since our inception we have attracted high-quality,
committed professionals and tradesmen, andwe have invested in their
training, development and growth. Now, with the addition of the
Partners Pipeline management team to MPG, we are well positioned
to take the next step in our development to become the premiere
pipeline construction partner in our industry sector.
The new ownership of MPG shares the same values we do, focusing
on client service, technical expertise and a safety-first oriented
culture. Combining the Partners Pipeline management expertise with
the strong MPG team and then leveraging off the financial resources
of ownership will provide MPG with increased technical and financial
strength that will allow us to not only meet our existing clients’
needs but also to capitalize on market opportunities that were previously
out of reach to us.
MPG will have increased capacity as well as many new services,
and areas of expertise that we will be able to provide you in the
future and we look forward to discussing those in more depth with
you. However, there are some key things we want to point out that
will not change:
• All of our key operations people are being retained in their
current roles. You will continue to work with many of the same people
in our company that you have in the past.
• Our existing facilities in New Iberia, LA will remain operational
and those contact numbers will continue unchanged.
MPG will be opening up a new corporate headquarters in the Houston
area in order to better serve our Texas-based clients. These facilities
will office many of the newest members of our executive leadership
team coming on-board from Partners Pipeline. Jimmy Fontenot, who
has accepted the role of President & CEO; Ken McDougall, who
will serve as Vice President; and Bruce Ainsworth who will be Operations
Manager, will all be based in Houston. Aaron Simon will continue
his responsibilities as Vice President and COO and will remain at
the New Iberia office along with most of the MPG team that you have
worked with in the past.
If you have any questions about this exciting news and what it
will mean for you and your company, please contact any of us at
any time. We look forward to introducing you to some of our new
team members.
The members, management andemployees of the “New” M.P.G
Pipeline Contractors, LLC.thank you for your continued trust, confidence
and support!
