SW Marine, Inc., formally Shallow Water Marine, has evolved from a labor of love. We are life long water fowl hunters and fisherman. Our experiences, over the years has made it possible to better serve our customers and to properly equip them for their needs. Our goal here at SW Marine is to equip you with the best products to match your needs and provide service that is second to none, not to just make a sale.

After putting together many hunting and fishing rigs of ourselves and friends, in the summer of 1997 we began building custom duck blinds. In 2005, after running one for a season, we decided to take our “side” business a step further by becoming the Iowa dealer for Gator-Tail Outboards. It wasn’t long and we needed boats for these outboards. In 2006 we began selling Alweld Commercial boats, Excel boats and Yacht Club trailers & Mud Buddy Outboards. For the customers wanting a traditional outboard we added Yamaha to our product line-up for 2007. In 2008 we purchased and moved to our current location in Palo, IA and began carrying Starcraft and Smokercraft fishing boats, Sylvan pontoons and Shorelandr trailers.

Today we have a complete product line-up to meet all your needs. From walleye fishing to waterfowl hunting to recreational boating we have it covered. We are a full line dealer and service center for Yamaha Outboards, Gator-Tail Outboards & Mud Buddy Backwater Outboards. We now carry Alweld Commercial Boats, Excel Boats, Gator Tail Boats, Starcraft & Smokercraft Fishing boats, Starcraft, Smokercraft, and Sylvan Pontoons.  We also manufacture and sell a number of products for the waterfowl Hunter, including custom boat ladders, raffia grass, push poles, hunt seat bases and much more. We offer complete boat & engine service, including inboard / outboards. We also repair aluminum boats and do custom aluminum fabrication and welding. With our factory trained technicians we are here to handle your service, repair and fabrication needs. Although we are an exclusive Yamaha dealer, we repair most outboard brands.
